it's known and already fixed for almost 6 months (on the 4th):

There is no workaround for it, the only options you have:
- update to the version, which has the fix included
- update whole distribution version
- change distribution to some which provides it [1]
- ask your distro maintainers to update to those versions
- ask your distro maintainers to backport the fix
- install Flatpak version from https://flathub.org
- build your own Flatpak version [2]
- build your own Evolution [3]

If there are more (feasible) options, I'm not aware of them.
