Hmm, that's not necessarily a good idea in case the user has several
monitors in a Xinerama (or Windows multi-monitor) setup. It might be
that the monitors are of such dimensions or positioned in such a way
that there are "holes" in the screen. (For instance, I have two LCD
monitors, one in landscape and one in portrait orientation.)

IMHO, you should display the tooltip as maximally visible on the monitor
containing the pointer only.
