I have merely facilitated the process by creating the branch. Without knowing more, it would be incorrect for me to make a call on committing the patch [See (1)]. This remains the prerogative of Varadhan, who maintains the Camel module. > > I was told to wait for what Jeffrey was going to commit ... I created a tracker bug for the mmap work: > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364766 > Thanks for the handle. Added myself to the CC list. (1) You have marked the patch as 'needs work' citing gaps in meta-data support and impact on other camel providers like evolution-brutus. This suggests a long review<->rework cycle - so I leave it to the submitter/reviewers to decide if they want to do this on the CVS immediately or after some time. Varadhan should be back in office in a day or two - you can take it forward together then on. Regards, Harish
