I've submitted a simple fix for a failure at configure time to detect
pilot-link when using LDFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed" in bug #396536 but soon
discovered it was already filled as bug #319504. The fix is really
simple and applies to evo-2.8+

There are other failures with LDFLAGS and kerberos support that have
been filled as bug #342830 (gentoo bugzilla :
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133458) but I'm not sure of the
status of these patches.
