Re: Patch to make disabling of the status icon innew mail notification possible

Gary,

Im fine for the GConf key, but you know really this should be part of
the plugin preferences, once Sankar completes his plugin-configuration
hook work. Also, if you read a mail, this notification goes off automatically.


For now, I'll push this patch until Sankar's work completes, but after
that this gconf key should have a visible entry in the preferences.
