I agree with this in principle but I'd like to see a few additional
changes while we're at it:

1) Convert these password prompts to markup strings and make the
   user and host names bold, so as to distinguish a hostname "dot"
   from a full stop.

   (e.g. "Please enter the IMAP password for [email protected].")
                                             ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Bold

2) Use consistent wording.  I prefer for previous example over:

     "Please enter the IMAP password for mbarnes on host redhat.com."
                                         ^^^^^^^         ^^^^^^^^^^
