The GNOME Foundation Membership & Elections Committee is pleased to
announce the final results for the following Bylaws amendment: "Proposed
amendment to bylaws to allow non-member directors".

One challenge was sent to the Committee [1] and it was ruled out not being
relevant and as such it was rejected. The thread has additional information
about the rejection rationale.

With that said, the bylaws amendment specified at [2] is considered fully
approved, we will be applying changes to the hosted Bylaws PDF, HTML and
RST versions during the next few hours [3].
