Let me (or someone!) finish PR#337 before we ask for that... I also don't know if the "No inbound audio in Pidgin calls once it's been running for a while¹" and "Occasionally no outbound audio in Pidgin calls due to a gstreamer race¹" bugs are going to require fixes in Pidgin, so it would be a shame to agitate for a 2.14 release and *then* find out we need more patches on the Pidgin side. We should probably let the dust settle a bit more first or at *least* clean up the known issues. In the meantime there's a COPR for Fedora at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/dwmw2/chime/ with the latest Pidgin builds. It wouldn't take much to put an up-to-date version of pidgin-sipe from Tieto in there too; I think everything *else* (libnice, farstream, etc.) in Fedora is already new enough. ¹ https://github.com/awslabs/pidgin-chime/issues/21 and maybe https://github.com/tieto/sipe/issues/163 ² https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=795374 and https://github.com/awslabs/pidgin-chime/issues/20 _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] https://pidgin.im/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devel
