Carson,

"We" care... [:-)]

Normal users???
I will leave that one alone...

Mixed environment???
I have three different versions of GARNOME [2.14.x, 2.16.x, 2.17.x]
running on a PowerMac with YDL-4.1, an FC4 clone that came with
GNOME-2.10.x.

Our friend Stef, who is a valued contributor to the GARNOME project, was
just voicing his frustrations with the unstable branch. Maybe the IRC
channel would be a better venue, but "we" take no offense. This is
life on the bleeding edge.
