Are you actually building on a macbookpro?

There was a PCI-bus related configure problem that caused erroneous
identification of the build platform as a macbookpro. In theory. those
patches fixed that problem...

What to do...

There is a configure argument

          --with-macbookpro

Set it equal to "no" in the GAR makefile and try rebuilding.
