   ehrm, may I ask what would be the problem of making a port to windows? I 
actually have one and it's running quit happily... oh, and it's built with 
glib 2.0.7 and libxml2 2.4.30. The version of libgdome I used was 0.7.3, 
isn't that the latest version? :) Oh, and I used Metrowerks CodeWarrior for 
Windows...

   so, ehm, what I did was actually brilliant? :)
