as far as I know all the things you want, are not possible with gdome. 

I first used gdome, but than I wrote my own dom2-wrapper, because I
needed the same features as you do.

Have a look at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/idom2-pas/

It might be possible to use it with borland c++, which is available for
linux too.

For which compiler do you need it?
