Hi, for a while now I've been trying to run the freshly released GNOME live CDs (based on SuSE) in VirtualBox (latest with VB 5.0.6). However I'm always failing. It seems the issues with Wayland in VBox are not solved yet. Currently I can't even login. At boot time the latest messages are a bunch of messages like this: [ 84.039031] audit: type=1105 audit(1443984723.644:1805): pid=8426 uid=0 auid=999 ses=241 msg='op=PAM:session_open grantors=pam_loginuid,pam_limits,pam_unix,pam_umask,pam_systemd,pam_env acct="linux" exe="/usr/lib/gdm/gdm-session-worker" hostname=? addr=? terminal=/dev/tty2 res=success' [ 903.878549] audit: type=1131 audit(1443985542.584:1893): pid=1 uid=0 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 msg='unit-systemd-tmpfiles=clean comm="systemd" exe="/usr/lib/systemd/systemd" hostname=? addr=? terminal=? res=success' Then the machine hangs. There's no difference whether I enable 3D acceleration in the machine settings or not. Could anybody give me a hint please how I am supposed to get GNOME 3.x running in a VirtualBox VM? Thanks in advance, Sven
