¿GNOME classic session it will still be maintained?

Hi everyone, for some time I have this question because I have not seen great
changes in this session and other alternative DE do something better as
Cinnamon or Budgie-desktop (the latter keeping the GNOME philosophy, being
very simple).

There are some default extensions that could be better as the application
menu or system tray legacy. Will you continue to accept reports of
improvement for example?
