flatpak update issues with gnome-software

Hi,

I keep receiving notifications that "geary and password safe" have 
updates or have been updated eventhough they are already updated. They 
show up in gnome-software updates tab and clicking on update does 
nothing. I checked running "flatpak update" from command line and it 
says nothing to update. This is only happening for flatpaks installed 
under user. Flatpaks installed system-wide doesn't show this behaviour. 
Is this a bug? I tried uninstalling and installing gnome-software but 
the issue persists. Re-installing the flatpaks also didn't solve the 
issue.

OS: Debian testing
gnome-shell version: 3.34.4
gnome-sofware version: 3.34.2
