I'm using Glade 3.6.7 on Ubuntu 10.04 and if you don't specify an extension it adds .glade when you save a new file. I also have Qt on this computer and if I click on a .ui file the Qt Designer opens up. This is why I was wondering about the extension. On the LinuxCNC project some use .ui and some use .glade so it is confusing to me.
