[glade--]How compile c++

Dear sir/madam,

I'm a rookie c++ programmer and I want to compile my programs.

I've found your listing at the gnome website, an thought you could help me.

I'm using Red Hat Linux 6.2 with GNOME.

Wich packages do I have to install to compile c++, and where can I find them on my harddisk.

Now I'm programming in Emacs, but I don't know how to use the compiler.
