[glade--]sorry forgot to include the eror ! problem compiling programs using glademm- [email protected]

hi everybody !

               i am a newbie to glade and i had the
neeed to generate c++ code - so i downloaded and
installed 
1) libssigc++ 
2)  gtkmm
3)  glademm

now i have no problem producing c++ src code but when
i run autogen.sh it gives the following erors 

checking whether to build shared libraries... yes
checking whether to build static libraries... yes
checking for objdir... .libs
creating libtool
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 2253: syntax error near unexpected
token `AM_PATH_GTKMM(1.0.0,,'
./configure: line 2253: `AM_PATH_GTKMM(1.0.0,,'
make: *** [all] Error 2


can any body help me out - it woud be of much help to
me .
