peekaboo problem

Hi,

I have just installed the latest gossip on my system and wanted to try
out peekaboo but the applet just crashes when I try to add it to the
panel.

I am running ubuntu dapper, to which I added the latest libgalago and
galago-daemon (but I am not exactly sure that the galago daemon is
working).
Is it anything special with this applet or should it just work ?

I am getting the following messages in .xsession-error:

if it is supposed to work, I can rebuild it with debugging information
and report a bug with a real backtrace, I just want to know if I am
doing any trivial error first.
