telepathy branch

Has anyone tried gossip on the latest telepathy branch?

I compiled everything fine, and telepathy-inspector seems to recognize the
connection manager.  But gossip is searching for something in
~/.telepathy/managers or /usr/share/telepathy/managers.  I've installed
gossip in my home dir with --prefix=$HOME/oss.  Has anyone run into this
problem and could give me a clue as to how to proceed?  Thought I ask,
while I look through the code and figure out what's going on.

I hope the final version of gossip doesn't require the user to go through
the wizard to run gossip.  I would assume d-bus has a way to query for all
connection managers...
