Especially since Telepathy/Gabble is currently lacking several features that needs to be in place to even consider making a switch. I'm also not sure how well we will be able to implement specific JEPs or own enhancements over Jabber through Telepathy? Is there a way to pass/read unfiltered jabber XML through Telepathy. If not, is it possible to just use Telepathy for MSN/ICQ what-not and continue using our own implementation of Jabber. We already have a stable implementation of Jabber (which is our #1 protocol to support).
