Yes, I would guess that the GossipProtocol design would have to be reviewed and most likely reworked a bit with a backend that implements several IM services. If you have a clear idea on what is currently lacking (or if it's only the problem mentioned above) we can look into refactoring that layer. > All in all I think this discussion is now useless.
