The confusing example in the Detailed Description is an excerpt from one 
of gtkmm4's demo programs. The complete source code is stored at 
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtkmm/-/blob/master/demos/gtk-demo/example_listview_applauncher.cc. 
It's included in every gtkmm4 tarball.
