Dear Sir, I wish to approach you with a request that would be of immense benefit to both of us. I am writing you in absolute confidence primarily to seek your assistance in releasing GNOME 2.22.1... Wow, did you ever try to write something like a spam? It's quite hard. You have to be polite, be full of consideration for the person you're sending the mail to, etc. It's not something I'm used to ;-) For example, if you ask Christian Kellner, I'm sure he will tell you I have absolutely no respect for him. But come on, shouldn't he expect this? I mean, this is Christian "bonobo-boy" Kellner! (Christian, you know I will never say it publicly, but you're seriously one of my heroes) Tarballs are due by Monday April 7th before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME 2.22.1 Stable Release, which will be delivered on Wednesday. Please make sure that your tarballs will be uploaded before Monday 23:59 UTC: tarballs uploaded later than that will probably be too late to get in 2.22.1. If you are not able to make a tarball before this deadline or if you think you'll be late, please send a mail to the release team and we'll find someone to roll the tarball for you! The schedule for 2.22 stable releases and more information about making releases can be seen on the 2.23 page on the wiki: http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointTwentythree For a quick overview of the GNOME schedule, please see: http://live.gnome.org/Schedule Thanks, -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- devel-announce-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/devel-announce-list
