Hi,

API/ABI Freeze for GNOME 2.27 starts today (Monday) by 23:59 UTC.

No API or ABI changes should be made in the platform libraries (for
instance, no new functions, no changed function signatures or struct
fields).
API freeze is not required for non-platform libraries, but is
recommended.

Future freezes (and other deadlines):

+ Feature and Module Freeze, July 27th
+ New API must be documented, August 3rd
+ Writing of release notes begins, August 3rd
+ UI Freeze, starting August 10th
+ String Freeze, starting August 24th
+ Hard Code Freeze, starting September 14th

For more information about 2.27, the full schedule, the official
module lists and the proposed module lists, please see our colorful 2.27
page:

Thanks,
andre
