I hope this letter would not come to you as a surprise.  I had actually got your email on my trip to Belgium  while in an official trip with our Industrial Minster over procurement of Diamond equipment in Belgium.

My name is Diallo Badou, the General Manager of Congo Diamond Mining Corporation, Lumumbashi, Congo Democratic Republic (Formerly Zaire) but I am based in Kinsasha, the capital where I head the Government Unit of their Cargo and Export.

I wish to inform you that I am a Katanga Native here and a member of Laurent Kabila's rescue team that ousted Mobutu Sese Seko.  I am also an Enginerr by Profession, I am 48 years old.

The reason why I am writing you this letter is to seek your co-operation in receivieng some consignment on my behalf that I would send to EUROPE.

You see for the past 6 months now the Government of Congo has been involved in what I should call huge mmovement of cash overseas.  Most if these cash are in US Dollars Stored in Trunk Boxes and sealed.  The amount vary from US$30 MIllion and US$50 Million based on the size of the box which are normally kept with us in the security arm of Congo Diamond Mining Corporation.

The fund actually are proceeds of Diamond sales which the Power that be at at the top is moving out of the country.  All I need is somebody in your capacity to receive the consignment once I ship it  to an European Security Company which shall hand over the boxes to you risk free for you to secure the money for me in a bank.

I shall give you the papers to validate your role as the owner when you get to the security company in Europe and the keys to the boxes.

Please tell me if it is possible for  you to collect the consignment on my behalf for me to give you all the details.  You shall take 30% of the contents while I take 60% and 10% shall be used for sundry expenses.

On this note can I call you if you would give me the go ahead to explain further to you.

You can not call me now because of the sensitive nature of my work as my life depends on this information.

The duration of this business shall be two weeks.  I hope to hear a favourable news from you.
