shutting down list

Hi,

I believe xdg-list, wm-spec-list, and so on have replaced this list
(much more successfully); gnome-kde-list is now just a spam collector
where I get messages about the need to deal with the moderation
queue. ;-)

So I propose closing this list (keeping the archives of course), and
using xdg-list etc. instead.  If anyone objects, speak now.
