I don't think that that is the end of the world. As I said "people want to
see us jump through hoops". They don't just want to see some bindings
rubber-stamped by some self-appointed beaurocrats. I expect to see bindings
improved by this process.

Yes, I understand that. And I am saying that I don't see the point of doing
it unless it's done right. Anybody is free to lead this if they think it's
worth doing according to other rules. I'm not personally interesting in
doing something that I don't think is worthwhile.

We need to present a simple, clear, message. Anything else will lead to
confusion and accusations that we are not in fact living up to our rules.
This release set would exist precisly in order to make it easy for people to
believe in something. If they can't believe then there's no point.
