RE: GNOME Platform Bindings - first schedule date

Some bindings, such as Gtk#, are not on the 2.6 schedule because they can
not guarantee that they can follow the API/ABI rules yet, but are trying to
follow it so that they can be on the 2.8 schedule.

I want to make these Beta bindings more prominent, so they can get the
benefit of publicity and encouragement as well. But as part of that, I want
you to _really_ try to follow the schedule. I will need tarballs from Gtk#
on the schedule dates, just like we'll have tarballs from the other
bindings. And I hope to see discussions about the possibility of API
freezes, even if you don't actually manage to do them. I am slightly
concerned that I see no discussion of the GNOME Platform Bindings release
set in the Gtk# mailing list archives.
