Sure, but it's just as easy to make dconf evolve faster as it is to
mess around with changing gconf. GConf has been about the same for, I
don't know, I'd guess 6-7 years, so there's no emergency to change it.

If we really plowed through dconf it should be possible to have done
in 6-12 months.
