libart_lgpl build for win32

Hi All,

I am trying to build libart_lgpl for win32 and getting errors.  I am
using cygwin 1.5.9 with mingw and binutils.

Below is the error which i get :

cannot find entry symbol _DllMainCRTStartup@12; defaulting to 00401000
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.1/../../../libcygwin.a(libcmain.o)(.text+0x7c): undefined reference to '_WinMain@16'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: ***[libart_lgpl_2.la] Error 1


I am using libart_lgpl-2.3.16 .

when i ran configure below were the options used

/configure --build=i686-pc-mingw32

Any kind of help is very much appriciated.
