error in Makefile (v2.36.0)

using the latest version - librsvg-2.36.0
on my system (OpenBSD 5.0)

after I configure (with --disable-Bsymbolic --enable-introspection=no --disable-gtk-theme )
when I 'make'

it halts at:
Making all in doc
"Makefile", line 795: Need an operator
Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
*** Error code 1

it appears that the doc/Makefile has a line:
-include $(top_srcdir)/git.mk

which to my novice eye seems like a diff/patch gone awry

by commenting out/removing this line

The global 'make' and specifically in the doc directory
completes fine.
