entering freeze for releases

As planned I have just tagged in git and pushed candidate one releases tarballs and rpms to the usual place: ftp://xmlsoft.org/libxml2 ftp://xmlsoft.org/libxslt they share the same directory in practice. Everything looks fine to me, I will update my machine with them to try to spot issues, but the most useful is testing on various scenarios, OSes and architectures.
