libxml2 maintenance going forward?

Hi

Is anybody still maintaining libxml2 now that Nick Wellnhofer has stepped
down?

We have 28 outstanding merge requests, with several new ones arriving each
month. Downstream users and projects are counting on them to be merged and
released.

Also can someone please help me with regular expressions in issue 301 (
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/issues/301)?

What would it take to become a libxml2 maintainer with commit access?
