Maybe the check for systemd in
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/accountsservice/commit/?id=753ec1b3dc91a8e93142e69f2daf8f798cb0850b
does not work correctly? 
Please file a bug report under
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=systemd and provide
system information and the compile log.
