Beginner

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie here. I would like to develop for Gnome. I have a fair
experience of C, PHP, Python although I prefer Python.
Could someone please suggest me some projects within the Gnome community
that use Python and C and are beginner-friendly?

I have been lurking on the IRC and mailing list for quite sometime now and
I appreciate how friendly this community is to beginners. Thanks a lot for
that.

Also I have been trying to work up the courage to fix some bugs, but I
never have enough confidence that I know enough to be able to do it. Any
help there? How do I know I am ready to contribute?
