Hm. I'd suggest starting again from a clean tree. In other words: - If you cloned the Gnote sources using git, run 'git clean -fxd' (warning: this will clobber any files you've added or changed) and then run './autogen.sh' and 'make'. - If you downloaded a tarball, I'd unpack the tarball into a fresh directory, then run './configure' and 'make' there.
