error building gnome-shell

Hi everyone,

I am building the gnome-shell using jhbuild and got an error building
xwayland the error is this:
Requested 'randrproto >= 1.5.0' but version of RandrProto is 1.4.0
I installed some Xorg libraries but I am still having the same issue,
not sure what I need to do, I am running fedora 21 with the gnome
desktop. 
I am also curious on what would be the best way to use a debugger
attached to the shell
