Actually, that's exactly what I intended to do when I installed Mono:
1) test my mono installation with basic apps.
2) test running my complex WCF/Winforms client app to see what the "partial WCF implementation" means.

But since the basic HelloWinForms app did not run I thought something was wrong in my Mono framework installation... That's what I want to understand first. Why did the trivial HelloWinForms.exe not run without raising a lot of dll not found exceptions !?
