Client-Server has anything to do with mono ?

Hi Guys, I am new here to this mono project. I am writing a comercial application and I am going to delivery it using old client-server architecture using clickonce. In the future I will write the application to work with 3 tier using wcf. My question is. Is there anything that mono can do for me now ? Having an application working as client-server only, where the server is only my database and the whole system is installed on users machine..?!
