Monodevelop and unicode bom

Hello list, I'm using this addins: https://github.com/robpvn/MonoDevelopGtkSharp3Template That is great for creating basics gtk3 projects. What's annoying me is that monodevelop keeps adding unicode bom to the .glade file also if in template is not present. This unicode bom breaks the glade file and it throws an exception. To make it work, I have to open the .glade file with glade and resave it. Is there a way to update that template to educate monodevelop to NOT add unicode bom?
