Hello George,

I have not tried it myself for some time, but I believe some people
are using my mono-basic-opt package.
The sources of the spec file show how I compile it:
https://github.com/tpokorra/lbs-mono/blob/master/mono-basic-opt/mono-basic-opt.spec.
Please note that I only build for TargetFrameworkVersion v4.5 by using
find and sed to replace it in the csproj files.

You can find the rpms ready to install at
https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/tpokorra/mono-opt/
