F# version in Xamarin repos

Hello everyone,

After looking at the official Xamarin linux repositories (http://download.mono-p
roject.com/repo/), it looks like for all distributions the F# package is at
version 4.0.0.3, which came out on the 6th of August 2015... That's more than
one year ago, and numerous versions (more than a dozen) have come out since.
Is there a reason for keeping an older version ? Are those packages not
maintained anymore ? It just feels weird that alongside cutting edge mono
packages, lies a (somewhat) outdated package.
