gnome-sound-recorder can't play .aifc file

i have just upgrate my system to Redhat9.0 with gnome-media-2.6.0-1;

but gnome-sound-recorder can't play .aifc file

when i tried to play one .aifc file, attention popup, shows "There is no element present to handle the stream's mime type audio/x-aiff"

but can play .wav correctly

what can i do to fix this issue ?
