add nautilus toolbar item using py extention ?

Hi team
 
 I am trying to add a nautilus toolbar item using the python-extension,
 However per documents that doesn't seems to be doable, just wanted 

 a confirmation or if I am missing something.  Any idea if I can add a
 nautilus toolbar item using pygtk.
