RE: compact view removed from Nautilus

Hi !

My opinion about the compact view is that it is very useful for people who
need to check the whole content of a folder in a glimpse, so it means more
info in less space the better. Possibly it has some usability issues, but
it is the only view available that offers such feature and it is the best
design for that so far.

IMHO, the compact view doesn't affect the user experience of common users,
that I think that find the icon view more convenient and they don't need
nothing more, and the list and compact view are only specialised views that
quite possibly have less users in comparison or they are used sporadically.
However, removing the compact view without offering an alternative solution
will affect negatively the experience to such users.
