Two main features needed in Nautilus

Hello. I've been using Linux for 10 years now, work and home. I'm still waiting for two main features on a Linux x manager; 1 - (To be at the same level as windows), something like a folder.jpg, that allows me to see folders as pictures or files. (cover icons scripts or gthunbls are not a solution) 2 - (To be a step ahead of windows manager), a "virtual" "image" that would show what's inside a folder when passing with courser without having to actually open the folder(s).
