Proposal for additional dbus interface

Dear Nautilus team,

I am wondering if you think it would be a good idea to have an additional
DBus Interface for previewers to listen/act on.

IMO it should allow for the following actions:

Move selection by Dbus interface (e.g. using the keyboard navigation when
sushi is focused should move the selection in nautilus, too)

Emit a signal when selection is moved: This would also be of particular
interest for previewers as they could use some sort of caching/pre-fetching
mechanism to speed up the loading of a file.

Would it be possible to include a DBus interface like this in a future
nautilus version or are there any general concerns?
