No worries!

Also note Nautilus 3.18 is no longer supported upstream, you may want to update to latest stable version if your distro allows it (preferred) or file a bug in your distro.

Sorry to reply to myself, it appears to be suddenly fixed. I had been
clicking on the first option which was empty which caused the crash.
After changing the third option and moving up to the first it now no
longer crashes. Apologies for the noise to the list.
