Hi Jody, On Sun, Feb 22, 2004 at 11:09:39PM -0500, Jody Goldberg was heard to remark: > supporting editable menus/toolbars one day. The result is better Ohhh ... a menu edit widget or some such would be really nice. If, for example, one creates custom reports, one needs to pop them into you menu system for use next time. I cooked one up, but its really ugly and overly complex (its modeled on the glade menu editor, which is OK for glade, but not for general consumption). A file-browser metaphor for editing menus might work, except that one needs to associate certain app-specific metadata with each menu entry /aka/ 'file'. --linas -- pub 1024D/01045933 2001-02-01 Linas Vepstas (Labas!) <[email protected]> PGP Key fingerprint = 8305 2521 6000 0B5E 8984 3F54 64A9 9A82 0104 5933
